This is a picture of grandad Henry Rowles born 1857 in Witney, Oxfordshire.
He is age 14 in the photograph.
If it could be tranformed into a colour picture I would be delighted.

Not a lot to colour for me.

One from me

I wasn't happy with the straight one that I did as it looked a bit bland, so I used some aging filters.
He looks sad/bewildered.

and a more orthodox one.

No fuss - just banter. You should join in more often, Tony!

Just got on the computer after a long day.
Delighted to see so many coloured restorations. Wonderful.
Thank you all so much.
Don't know what grandad would have made of it.
I never new him but am told he was not easily amused.

I hope you like this one

A big thankyou also to the last 3 versions.
I do appreciate the hours it must take to colour these pictures.
A few days ago all I had was a pinky colour of a print of Grandad.
Now I am spoilt for choice as to which one will now hang on the wall in my lounge.
I only have one other picture of him and that is in WW1 uniform so this one is very precious.
Thank You.

One more for the pile.
