Im looking for information on the parents of Patrick duffy born march 1857 in killcullen . Father's name was owen duffy. Trying to find out if owen was in the army down in Kildare.  Would it say this on Patrick's birth certificate?

Civil registration did not begin until 1864 so no birth certificate.

I see the baptism shows parents as Patrick Duffy and Mary Duffy. There are no mothers’ surnames on the page.
Sponsors are Michael Hood? and Mary Boylan.

Ancestry have military indexes with several Owen Duffys.
Did Patrick marry? If so where? What was his father’s occupation on the marriage certificate?
Do you know if there were siblings?

Brothers Thomas and Owen duffy both born dublin. Thomas I think 1863.
