Hello and Happy Easter to you all. I have been going over my ancestors Thomas Simmonds from Kent, he married a Hannah Long in 1823 Maidstone Kent searching for his parents proved to be difficult so many different parents came up. :-[ Their daughter Phillis L. Woodger Long Simmonds married a Frederick Hodge in 1858 Christ Church St. Lawrence N.S.W. All through the family names were mentioned Lydia. Woodger and Long. :-\ While searching came across a couple Thomas Simmonds and a Lydia Woodger marriage 22/8/1790 Addington this area is hard to search, the couple had a son Jeremiah Simmonds baptism 25/12/1803 at Farningham kent. :-\ Anybody familiar with this couple ancestors, etc. :-[ Need help. :-[

1841 has the family in Maidstone all born in Kent EXCEPT Thomas who dies before the next census.
The 1841 census does not have Y or N in the column for Thomas, he was age 41 occupation Fossilist.

I was just putting the information out there for others as you state he was born in Kent whereas census does not confirm that, also added his age.

Afternoon rosie99 I wish to thank you for your help, unfortunately looking through my records, I have come across another query regarding Thomas Simmonds 1800 parents unknown who married Hannah Long in Maidstone Kent England in 1823. I have found a Jeremiah Simmons son of Thomas and Lydia Woodger 25/12/1803 baptism Addington. As mentioned before, Thomas Simmonds is proving hard to find still searching for some connection with these added names that continue on. :-[
