Hi
I'd appreciate any suggestions of the cause of death on this death certificate of one of my ancestors. I haven't a clue what it says.
Also, the bit where it says .... weaver. I cannot work out what his fathers occupation was.
Thanks
Mark

Cause of death is phthisis pulmonalis, otherwise known as TB.

Thank you so much

wondering if that was the origin of 'wincyette' sheets (bedding sheets) my Mam had when I was little ( many, many moons ago)

The wincey took me back too, Boo. Mum used to call the sheets 'wincey' for short. We had them in the winter when they were warmer than the cotton ones.

That takes me back, candy striped wincyette sheets ;D
