Thanks for helping me with a previous record!! Can I please have some help with these portions of a marriage record from 1882? The image I downloaded is watermarked and I'm still not clear if it's ok to post the whole thing, so I'm just posting the portions we need help with.
We don't understand the location in the smaller portion. We can read some of the names, dates and locations in the larger portion, but not all of them.
Thanks again!! :)

Thank you David! You're a lifesaver.
I'm only able to be online for a few minutes right now, I'll be back later today though. I'll see if there are any bits that I can't figure out then.
:) :)

Hi again David. I haven't had a chance to dig into the 1878 document yet, thank you for sending the link to it. I'll get on that tomorrow.
Meanwhile, on the 1882 document, I can read the name of the father of the bride but not his occupation. In addition, I can't read all the words about the mother. I can see that she is some sort of Frau, her name is Luise and I think her maiden name is Schinwthe. I have no idea what the words are after that.
I appreciate this so much!!

Thank you once again Dave!!
I'll be trying my hand at the 1878 document today.

Hello Dave. With the help of your previous transcription, I was able to read most of the 1878 marriage except this bit at the bottom of the 2nd page. I'd appreciate your assistance once again!!

This is an excerpt from a marriage cert
Friedrich Mittelstaedt
and
Bertha Schornstaedt
another child from Auguste??
-
Could be Dave. Thanks!! You're just scrolling through the Roschutz book?
That seems like something I should be doing!
-
Found her here actually
https://serwer1735115.home.pl/wyszukiwarka/
change language to English and search for Schornstaedt
-
Thanks. I went there and did it. I see a number of individuals I can look into. Cool!
-
Hi Dave. It seems likely that Bertha is the daughter of the Auguste I am researching. I found and can read most of the record. But I'm stuck on the word I've circled. It looks like Auguste's surname is spelled two ways and the circled word explains this. Can you please decipher it? Thanks!!
I plan to look into the other Schornstadt individuals I found on the Pomorskie Indeksy site but one thing at a time!! Thanks for that link though, excellent resource!!

unverehlichte Auguste Schornstädt
/ anders Schornstaedt
anders = otherwise
The Umlauts in German: Ä, Ö, Ü
can also be written as Ä=AE, Ö=OE, Ü=UE
-
Thanks Dave!! We were so close!! We had figured out a_d_r_ but we could not complete the puzzle! That makes perfect sense though. We are very familiar with the ae Umlaut variation.
I found individuals on the Pomorskie Indeksy site using both variants of the surname.

do you know this site?
try a search for Schornstaedt

I was not aware of that site Dave. Thank you so much!!
