Some of these people were identified as Peggy Polly and STEVENSON by their neice and husband/fiancee Jimmy LYNN by Polly's daughter my aunt and an approximate date of 1925
The man in bottom right looks like my dad not born til 1930 so could it be grandad Tommy ?
Any clues in clothes faces
as to what sort of occasion it could be .
A bit sombre for a wedding .the ladies used to make their own clothes
Polly m Thomas Macdermid b 1903

All it says on back
Are the names
-
Have to say it looks 1920's to me too.
The clothing suggests mid - late decade.
-
You're right I've found a record of Jimmy Lynn + Peggy as a married couple in mount Vernon 1923
So it must have been before they emigrated
The writing on the back is probably my aunt Mary b after this photo was taken trying to do it from memory
-
my grandmother wrote names on the back of where the person actually was
not right to lefft
does that make sense
now i know that i can definitely identify Tommy
its funny because i never thought he looked like his son my father
also this may help with family resemblances of the other brothers
