hello,
I have an old postcard dated 1909 addressed to Essie Horn from her grandfather - I bought the postcard at an Antique fair in the 1980s. The front of the postcard is only a comic image but the reverse has a brief handwritten message from her grandfather - he didn't sign his name.
Recently, out of curiosity I decided to do a little research on Essie to see what I could find out about her. Only to find that tragically she died aged only 13 years in in 1916 Luton. I also have her death certificate which shows she died of heart disease.
I would like to reunite the postcard and certificate with her family if possible.
