Title: Mc.....Something???
Post by: Glinny on Tuesday 06 April 21 23:59 BST (UK)
Hello. I’m asking for some much needed help once again with reading a name on a death certificate. I’m trying to find the name of Batholomew’s mothers maiden name. I think it starts with Mc?

Thanks

Still having a look, but there are a Den and a Mary Wahlen shown on the 1880 US Census for Davis Street, St Louis, Missouri. He is shown as a "Butscher" (sic). They are shown as being 35 which would give them an approximate birth year of 1845. No sign of Bartholomew but both Den and Mary are shown as born in Ireland and both sets of parents born there too. The 3 children listed (all born in Missouri) are Mary (10), Emmy (4) and James (2).

Thanks for all the replies. I’ll try with the McEnnery variations and see where that gets me. Thanks again
