Hello
My great great grandparents John and Elizabeth (nee Laverick) Tulip went from the UK to States settling in Jefferson, Ohio for the period (roughly) 1864-1874. I found the birth records of my great grandfather, James (Jamie) born in Steubenville in 6 Oct 1872 but I cannot find any of his siblings as listed below. Likewise I can't give exact dates of their arrival in the US or subsequent departure.
I would greatly appreciate if anyone might be able to find some information that could firm up their births and any potential deaths in the States. I have all records in the UK.
John George Tulip b1862 might have died 1864
John George Tulip b1865
William Friend Tulip b1867
Martha Tulip b1870
Many thanks
Joanna

Thank you.
I already have all census records and UK deaths for the family so these seem to match up with your background info 😁
I realise in my post that there is only one potential death I might be looking for in the US and that is the John George b1862 in the UK.

Wonder if this might be Elizabeth arriving in 1864? She has a 1 year old son with her:

Quite usual for the husband to go first (to find work and a place to live), so I would expect to to find him on a slightly earlier ship.

You might browse through the birth record book for any born 1867 or later:

There is a strong possibility this is Elizabeth as I found a subsequent infant death with a corresponding age. Thank you

Have the marriage of John Tulip and Elizabeth Laverick Sept Qtr 1861 Houghton, Co. Durham.
Have the birth of John George Tulip Dec Qtr 1862 MMN Laverick, Houghton, Co Durham. Have had a look at the USA arrival on An..ty and the date of arrival was 16 May 1864 so John George would have been about 18 months old at that time.
Can't find any further births for a Tulip (male or female) with MMN Laverick (from GRO index).
There is a birth for a John George Tulip in 1865 but that is with a MMN Surtees,
