Title: trying to find parents of Wilfred Laing.

Wilfred Laing was born in Nairn, Scotland on 28th Oct 1933,

apart from ordering His birth cert, ( running out of money , do to ordering to many certs )

is there any other way I could find His parents ?

Have you checked for Laing marriages in Nairnshire around that time?  Can only see one but it was also in 1933

If he died in Scotland - mmn may be shown on death reg on SP

Is he the one died Bucks 1996?

Wait until the Scotland's People centres reopen and ask if someone who is going there would be willing to look up the birth for you.

This could be a complete coincidence but it's not the most common of names

Birth of Wilfred Davie Laing in 1900 Hackney on freebmd - death of Wilfred Davie Laing 1975 also in Aylesbury Bucks??  2 marriages for a Wilfred D Laing - 1938 & 1947 both on freebmd but no children on 1939 entry??

No.

English marriage certificates name the couple's fathers but not their mothers.

English death certificates don't name either of the parents of the deceased.

I do not think so ? but not sure,

that is why I am trying to find his parents , to see if He links to My tree,

My Laing, where in Nairn about the time that Wilfred was born ,

may bring up someone I have missed off My tree.

An Alexander Findlay Laing (b 1904) married a Jessie Ross,(b 1914) 1933, Banff. Both of them died in Nairn. 1975 & 1978.

Alexander was born Kelvin, Lanarkshire. That is where his parents were married.
