I am trying to trace a marriage or a death for Fanny Lovett born 1850 in Hemel Hempstead, daughter of Thomas Lovett and Mary Ann Lovett nee Ebbethite.
I have found one marriage for a Fanny Lovett in 1879 but this is another Family, her parents are William and Charlotte.

There is a marriage for Frances Lovett to Henry Mead 3rd October 1869 Hemel Hempstead. Her father is Thomas Lovett Bricklayer, one of the witnesses is Mary Ann Lovett.

You have posted on the Immigrants & Emigrants board. Did she emigrate? If so - to where & when?
Marriage above is promising as 1861 shows father Thomas was a bricklayers labourer

She was Fanny not Frances so maybe not correct marriage.
As i could not find her i thought she may have emigrated i just do not know, because i do have lovetts who went to Australia but not a direct line to her.

She is not the 1879 marriage in Hemel Hempstead - 1881 shows birthyear 1858
I think there are 2 Fanny Lovett’s born 1850 Hemel Hempstead. The illegitimate Fanny was b Gt Gaddesden & is with grandparents in 1851
1851 & 1861 for your Fanny - her birth was not registered nor was her elder sister Sarah’s

I think it must be but the Jazesbury threw me off course.
Only other Mead/Lovett birth I could see was Ellen in Mar 1886 with a corresponding Mar 1886 death.

last census i found her in was 1861

I have been looking through boxes in my loft this morning, because i know i had my grandmothers Florence Lovett bible from when she was confirmed.
And named in the back of the book are her father John and his siblings.They are Sarah Anne-Fanny-Thomas-Emma- James- Francis (Frank) -George no mention of a Frances but do you think maybe someone named Fanny would be another name for Frances As Frank is to Francis.
If so then the marriage for Frances that as been found could be correct.
