Title: Wilhelma Brown
Post by: littlefacey on Wednesday 14 April 21 20:34 BST (UK)
Hello!

I have a few old photos that need some attention... can anyone help? or point me in the direction of an easy free online editing programme?

I also have a few other photos but the files are too large to upload  :'(

You just need to re-size the images if you wish to add them to your RootsChat posts. :)

Does not look too bad to start with. What is the problem?

This chap has cracks in the photo... is there a way to get rid or them?

Suggestion.  Try and put a new photo on a new page perhaps:

Anyway to remove the lines and sharpen the image?

  Yes! but I'm busy supergluing my fingers together at the moment. i.e. I'm busy building

   a model so I only do quickies for now. :D :D :D :D

      I must admit that I'm rather an expert at it ::) ::) ::) ::)

            At the moment though, it's contact adhesive, as I'm gluing brass cannon ports

  to the hull of a ship.   ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

It is better if you can put a new image on a new page, there are many restorers who may not have seen this photo, we don't mind how many you post, the more the merrier. Here is one from me

That's a good restore, Pat  :)

I'm getting confused with all the ones that the OP has put up. I agree - a new thread for each one is best.

Thank you Gadget. Here is my restore of Margaret and her daughter, I've adjusted the perspective a little.
