Title: Roscommon Ireland Research
Post by: Ticonderoga on Wednesday 14 April 21 21:52 BST (UK)
From the 1749 Elphin Diocesan Census of Co. Roscommon is the enumeration for the family of Robert Boyd and wife, with son, John Boyd, and daughter, Agnes Boyd.  This Boyd family matches my ancestor, Robert Boyd, a weaver from Ireland, his son, John Boyd, and daughter, Agnes Boyd.  Agnes was born c.1744 in Ireland and was about 5 years old when they emigrated to America.  Would like to develop a research strategy to ID the Boyd family found in the 1749 Elphin Diocesan Census.
