Title: Legacy 9.0 Help
Post by: Exiled Mancunian on Thursday 15 April 21 21:19 BST (UK)
I use Legacy 9.0 and I was wondering if there is a way to incorporate census and 1939 Register entries into individual records?

Any help gratefully received.

Kind regards and stay safe,

Yes you can, but I believe you need to have the paid for version to do this not the free version.

There are a huge number of additional fields/events that can be added to individuals, plus you can make new ones as well. All the UK census ones are already in there.

When you open the Individual's Information it only displays the four default events, Born, Chr, Died, Buried.

Half way down on the right hand side is an ADD button. Click on that and it brings up another window to allow you to add additional events to that individual. To the right of the Event/Fact box there is a down-arrow. Clicking on that will bring up a list of the other events. If the event you want is not in the list there is an add button to the right which allows you to set up a new Event and add it to the list.

Thanks Eyesee, that is most helpful. I have just done a trial run and it worked.
Your help is much appreciated.
Thanks also to Carol 80 but I don't do Facebook so will be unable to take advantage of your tip.
Kind regards and stay safe.
