Title: Llanbadarn Fawr Monumental Inscriptions
Post by: Keston on Friday 16 April 21 23:05 BST (UK)
Hi,

There used to be a very useful website put together by Penglais School which provided a full survey of monumental inscriptions from St Padarn's church, Llanbadarn Fawr near Aberystwyth.  This seems to be no longer online.

Does anyone know whether these are still available online in another location.

I am looking to find monumental inscriptions for Thomas Jones (d. 1824, b. 1766) and his family.  I think he may have been a merchant and shipowner of Aberystwyth.  I also think he may have been buried at Llanbadarn Fawr church.

Details I have for him and others of his family who may also have been buried at Llanbadanr Fawr are:

Thomas Jones
Wife - Jane
Sons -  Thomas, John, Evan, William.
Daughters -
Winifred (Gwen) b. 1792 m. Lewis Jones 5/1/1819 Llanbadarn Fawr
Jane b. abt 1789  m. John Humphreys
Margaret b. 1790  m. William Julian, she was buried Llanbadarn Fawr 1864
Anne m. William Evans

Does anyone have access to a copy of the Llanbadarn Fawr monumental inscriptions, or can you suggest where I could find them online.

Many thanks,
KESTON.
