Hello everyone just wondered if anyone could help me. I'm on the hunt for Fletcher Young he's the brother of my 4x great grandad Charles Young their father was John Morton young and their mother was Margaret surname is possibly Fletcher.

I don't know much about Fletcher other than his yr of birth on the census and on other family trees is 1793 but I'm not sure that can be right if his older brother was born in 1719
The only dates i have is for
Charles and that's 1719 - 1784
father John 1692
mother is Margaret not got a date for her
I know they were all from Cockermouth/Maryport area of Cumbria

You obviously have something wrong if you think he has a sibling born 1719 :-\

How have you got back to this birth for Charles. If he was your 4th gt g'father please list your 3rd gt gfather, 2nd gt gfather with dates and wives etc so we can check it back.

Youngy1981, just a head's up. In 1911 John Young is in Ireland bn c1875 England, how do you know that he was born in Cumberland and that his parents were John & Ellen.
1881 census has Ellen (widow) and children Daniel 11, Jane 9 & James 10 months. I can't see a son John for her on any census. Where do you have him in 1881, 1891 and 1901
