Title: workhouse, 1911

My grandfather was born there in September 1911, his mother was Lillie (lily) Williams (unmarried), is there records for the workhouse for this period.

There may be some documents relating to the Armagh Workhouse among the collections in the Armagh County Museum.

The records may be stored in PRONI in Belfast. During a recent visit we were able to look through Antrim Workhouse records but these were completed during the 1800s. You might be able to check if it is held there on PRONI website


I wonder, even if they are held there, if you would be able to see them because of the 100 year rule  :(
