Title: Woods Family - My dad & his grandparents - any restoration possible?
Post by: MJW on Monday 03 May 21 16:29 BST (UK)
This photo shows my dad, his sister, and their grandparents.  It's in terrible condition but I would be grateful for any restoration at all.  It's my only photo of my great grandparents, taken about 1920 probably in Blackpool.

Thanks.   Malcolm

Pleasure, Malcolm. Glad you like it. Part of the secret is having a good scan to work on, which you provided, so thank you. :D

Carol
I'm so glad you (and others) came to the rescue.

It's a very precious photo to me for several reasons.
- It's the only photo I have of my dad before his wedding.
- His father was killed at Gallipoli in 1915, and his mother died in 1920 from TB.
- My dad and his sister were then brought up by their grandparents (and then by an uncle after they died).
- This is the only photo I have of my great grandparents.

Thank you........ Malcolm
