Ok, so I followed the links here to the new site and, boy, is it confusing now. I'm trying to get into the Gillingham St. Mary Magdelane parish records, marriage for 1814. I can get as far as the red highlighted: Register of Marriages indexed. If I click on that, nothing else. Suggestions appreciated.

FindMyPast have the transcripts which give a direct link to the image in the registers on the Cityark web page :)
Who are you looking for

Is this what you want, you can scroll through it

Instead of clicking on the highlighted Register of marriages, look up the page to where it says ”Digitised version” and click on PDF file. The files are very large and take quite a while to load.

Must confess I'm definitely feeling all my 67 years today with this archive. Can't figure it out for the life of me. I did find the 1814 marriage (same couple), the slow download from findmypast threw me off. I can't find the second file I need that covers 1802 Banns (seems the marriage maybe never occurred as there was no record of the actual marriage in 1802). The Banns record is for:
Role Groom
Record set Kent Marriages And Banns
First name(s) William
Last name Cantley
Marriage year 1802
Spouse's first name(s) Sar.
Spouse's last name Tollington
County Kent
Country England
Place Woolwich, St Mary Magdalene
Marriage date 30 Nov 1802
Very many thanks if you can get me to the right file.

The actual image of the marriage is available on Ancestry and yes they did marry on 30 November 1802 and both William and Sarah signed the marriage register.
-
I never even checked ancestrydotcom! It just can up in my findmypast and I never bothered to look for it elsewhere. Well that was a waste of everyone's time. Many thanks.

The 1814 marriage which gives the transcript of the marriage on FindMyPast gives direct link to the Cityark images on the transcript page. As that has the date of the marriage you can select the image from the small images to the left. That method is a lot quicker than going through the CityArk pages.

The marriage in 1814 is to a Sarah Higgs. Both William and Sarah have been married before.

The 1814 marriage is at St Mary's Gillingham.
-
yes I know, I am having trouble with st Mary's chatham, sorry I didnt say that. Before I saw my parents marriage lines in 1947 now it says on on microfile
-
That is annoying.
I only have one Chatham baptism c1887 which I know I have a paper copy of somewhere. Parents married elsewhere.

Yes, I did know that, thankyou. I was just struggling getting copies of both the marriages. I have them now, many thanks for your help.
