Title: Seeking marriage of Albert Rowles

Albert Rowles was born 2.1.1884 at Calgary, Alberta.
His parents were William Aaron Russell Rowles and Catherine Shickler, farmers.

Albert married somone called Alice, surname unknown.
She died 1962 at Vancouver and Albert died 1956 at New Westminster.

It would be interesting to know whether they had any children.

The death certificate for Alena Erena Rowles list the informant as a nephew - Raymond L Adams.

The death certificate for James Albert Rowles gave the informant as Mrs Alice E Rowles (his wife)

The two grand-child mentioned in the obituary for William Rowles belong to Clarence.  So it does look as if James Albert Rowles and Alice Adams did not have children.

Cemetery Nine Elms British Cemetery Just South West of Poperinghe, Belgium.
Died of shell wounds - (shell wound penetrating abdomen) at No 44 clearing station.

Just been looking at the obituary for William Aaron Russell Rowles
I have him as being born 21.1.1860 at Kansas and marrying 29.8.1883 at Rothsay to Catherine Shickler who died 1939 at Vancouver. His obituary states his widow was May. Did he remarried after Catherine died in 1939. He died in 1944 at Vancouver.

Or maybe the first marriage I have is wrong?

Yes, William Rowles did remarry 15/7/1930 Vancouver  to May Moffatt.

William and Catherine also had a son - Emmanuel William Rowles 26 November 1888 -Wellington Ontario.
Emmanuel died 1889 Wellington Ontario. Cause of Death Cerebritis.

I didn't know about Emmanuel so thank you for that piece of information.
I would welcome any more information on Clarence Addison Rowles, born 1907 at Okotoks, who married a Muriel.
When was the marriage and would love to have more information on their 2 children; Melvyn and Dinah if at all possible.
I very much appreciate all the help ypou have given me.

Washington Marriage  - Name:   Clarence A Rowles born 1907 and aged 29 years of Vancouver BC
Application Date 16 Sep 1936 Whatcom, Washington.
Spouse Muriel A Bradbury. Aged 25 years.

Bear in mind two children are born 1936 onwards so we really cannot name fully on here.
