Title: Identification of uniform
Post by: Elliven on Sunday 30 May 21 23:51 BST (UK)
Could anyone please identify this uniform which is allegedly from a 1915 photo but I believe it could be from 25-30 years earlier.  Is it German, Prussian, Austro-Hungarian or what?  The man wearing it is ethnic Polish.

Can I suggest posting your photo in the Uniforms, Cap Badges and Insignia sub-forum of the Great War Forum? Plenty of experts in that particular forum who I am sure can give you an answer.

Thank you CraigM63,

I have done that and got an instant answer that it is definitely German.  I expect to learn more from that source very soon.
