Martha Watterson nee Watterson married John Watterson on June 9, 1848 in Ireland. They emigrated first to Canada then to New York, then to New Hampshire where Martha died May 13, 1871 in Newmarket, Rockingham Co.
Hoping that her obit might mention her sister Margaret Leacock also in New Hampshire or her sister Matilda who I have nothing on other than her baptism.
Martha's husband John died July 16,1890 in Newmarket. His obit would be helpful as well.
Thanks for any help

Still looking for an obit for Martha Watterson nee Watterson, with parents George Watterson and Mary Ann McNeil. Wondering if Martha had a sibling Mary Ann who married William Hurl abt 1839 but stayed in Ireland. Martha died May 13, 1871 in Newmarket, Rockingham, New Hampshire and her husband John died July 16,1890.

Thank you very much RJ137 for John’s death notice in the Sentinel. Sunstroke. I have reviewed my other posting with the background info on this family in which Sandra followed each and every descendant and their children, complete with marriages and obits. My profound thanks and appreciation for all her thorough, excellent work.
My recent posting was triggered by my research on a Mary Ann Watterson who married William Hurl in Ireland abt 1839 or 1840. I haven’t found the marriage as yet and I don’t know Mary Ann’s father but if they followed the naming pattern, her father could be George, and Mary Ann’s age fits with possible siblings Martha Watterson nee Watterson and Margaret Leacock nee Waterson. Just a wild hope that Martha’s obit in 1871 might mention Mary Ann Hurl back in Ireland although the odds were very slim.
Thanks again Sandra and RJ137 for all your help.
