Title: Elizabethan Will
Post by: andygmandrew on Wednesday 09 June 21 10:23 BST (UK)
I'm transcribing a will from 1602 and am struggling with an abbreviation. With reference to the queen I read, 'Sovereigne Ladye Elizabeth ***'. The asterisks mark the abbreviation. I tentatively read 'Queen' but I'm not convinced. Any help would be appreciated.
