Writing is far too small to read! Definition is lost on expanding the image.
Can you post a snippet of the bit you are having trouble with?
Rather than a whole page.
-
Can't make it out (looks very small on my monitor) but eventually found the image.
The attached will possibly look huge to some!
Best I can see is:
Discharged for the purpose of being re-enlisted in the [??] of Coast O.T.C.
Auth.y: G.O.C. 89th Infantry Brigade 3657. [?] / 21.6.15

OP,
Use the Snipping tool or the Snip & Sketch tool to produce a jpg file for deciphering.

Looks like he's gone to Officer Training College.
Inns of Court O.T.C. Based at Berkamsted.
So looks like 15181 Frank Beadle 17/KLR (89th. Bde.)

Hi Jim1
Could that word I was not sure about be Mess ?

Added to previous post.
Inns of Court.
-
This is an example of the seemingly peculiar practice of having to be discharged as an other rank when embarking on an officer career.

Thanks everyone for your input.
I thought it read Inns of Court but made no sense to me.
Officer Training College I imagined was O. T. C.
He was Discharged from the 17th Pals 15181 on 31/08/1915
Father was William Boadle of Waterloo Liverpool
-
I am researching him Pte Frank Chambers Boadle for the Liverpoolpals Roll of Honour he is listed with an unknown Biography as having Died as a former PAL who was KIA in another Regt on 1/07/1916

This Service Medal Card implies he was still a Pte.in 13th London Regt from 2 Feb 1916 till his Death 1 July 1916
Presume he was at O T C 31 August 1915 to 1 February 1916 ? But failed ?
-
I saw that earlier but couldn't reconcile him as being the Frank C Boadle that went for officer training.
On saying that I couldn't see him Gazetted either.
Added: I see his father is William according the effects register same as the other chap so looks like he failed the course.

No trace either of a Dependents Pension claim from either Parent.
-
If they weren't dependant on him they would only
get the Gratuity.
He would have to state on his attestation if he had any dependants.
Presume he was at O T C 31 August 1915 to 1 February 1916 ? But failed ?
If memory serves I believe men with military training only went for around 10 weeks.
He was just to the East of Hebuterne on the 1st. the 13th. Btn. suffered huge casualties.
-
Thanks everyone for your Input we now have a Biography for the previously unknown former PAL on our Roll of Honour who was killed in another Regiment.

-
You might want to make a correction as to the place he died.
It was just to the East of Hebuterne.
Thiepval was around 10mls. South.
-
Jim1
Thanks for correction. Thiepval was my assumption.
Now with your knowledge all has been amended on our Roll of Honour
