Title: Walton burials in St. Giles
Post by: susan57 on Sunday 13 June 21 17:34 BST (UK)
Can anyone please tell me how I might find the burial place of William Walton who died 19th March 1905, and his wife Mary Jane who died 31st July 1904? They were both living at 18 Young Street, St Giles (or Gilesgate?) at the times of the deaths. I have no knowledge of the area and I’m not local. Thanks x

Durham County Record Office have St Giles records and the dates you want appear to be on microfiche there though only of the burials , not the grave plans or grave records.

Is this them?  Date of death for Mary Ann is 1909
You didn't give their ages at death or DOB.

Thanks very much. I got excited at first but then realised “my” William married Mary Jane, not Mary Ann. They were both 61 when they passed. Appreciate your help, though
