Title: Sisters - 1947-8
Post by: Gadget on Tuesday 15 June 21 23:25 BST (UK)
This is a very small and fuzzy scan and I can't find the original but would love to have some improvements, please.

It's big sis and me  (aunty in the background)  ;D

Thanks for anything you can do to improve it.

Thanks, japeflakes.

What we were doing in next door's garden, I don't know. The china figure was my gran's. We called it the cherry boy.

I've been straightening them most of my life, Boo  ;D

My youngest daughter, who had lovely straight hair was 'desperate' to have curls when she was small.
She realised that ladies went to the hairdressers and came out with curls so demanded, at the age of 4, to have her hair 'cut curly'  Obviously she didn't get her wish  :-)

Her youngest son had the most wonderful mass of curls when he was small. Granny cried when they were cut off because 'he' wanted short, straight hair.

I'll see if I can find a pic of me with my curls (as a grown up). I did have a Kevin Keegan in the 1970s/80s

 ;D ;D ;D
