Hi Guys, Another page I recently been sent, is again a pain for me. While the rest is normal German, the top 3 lines are in Sutterlin, please help me again.
I believe the first word, is the last word of a previous sentence, and therefore ignore that. Its just the 3 top lines, after which I have translated fairly well.
Thanks all, Dave

Hi Dave,
Think we're going to have to wait for davecapps on this one! I'm tired this morning, and I am having real problems deciphering what is actually quite a clear piece of handwriting!
Even the first word is causing me aggro... :-[
young. (...cht ?) mir und (......) bei mir.
(.......) schon von der Arbeit (zu.....).
(Levias ?) aus der Schweiz.
Appalling, I know.
Let's wait for Dave. ::)
Best regards,
Karen

Hi Karen and Dave,
Karen, We need your input as much as Dave's. I got some basic common words like bei, und, mir, ... not as many as you, but its the other words that make a sentence, lol.
(meat on the bones) This was when he was about to split from his wife (after a year in an asylum), and had to tell his in-laws.
Thanks both, stay safe, Dave.

Thanks, Dave! :)
That must have been an awful time for him. :(

Hi Dave(s),
I know - I am terribly anally retentive about these things sometimes. :o ;D
It has now occurred to me that the mystery word is not Nacht, but Kocht!
Kocht mir und wohnt bei mir.
Cooks for me and lives with me.
Was lange währt, wird endlich gut. ;D ;D ;D
