Title: John's surname
Post by: mckha489 on Monday 12 July 21 10:28 BST (UK)
Surname of the witness John - transcribed on Freereg as Scotchmer

The "S" doesn't look the same as the S of Solomon to me.  But Am willing to be over-ruled

belongs to this thread.  https://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php?topic=850861.msg7184603

It's available on FindMyPast - Chatham St Marys marriages but no Ks  on the pages in that cleric's hand that I can see. There seem to be Kitcheners in the area.

I also read it at Scotchman or possibly Scotchmer.
