Can anyone decipher Rachels surname (2nd line) Thanks in advance.

I'd say Panton or Parton.

John Plimer who was a witness to several marriages in that register usually did his P like that.

Its indexed as Tranton on one record but i was hoping it was Parton which would make sense. Cheers
