hi my name is darci chalmers and im looking for the family of rowena king of washington state and oregon. we are related somehow and she died in 2006 im just wondering if its through the jay mccaffry side . can anyone help me

the son is still in the town he was living in when his mother died. Her sister Lorena Bobb died in 2008.

here is something posted by someone in 2012, citing Rowena King as a source for the information. It mentions a McCaffrey/McCaffry family. maybe you will see some familiar names there. The post is tagged Jay, McCaffry if you look at the bottom. I suspect the person posting it is linked to the email address at the top of the post. You could contact them too.

the tags won't help, that is the only post on the site tagged Jay or McCaffry.

There are a lot of trees on ancestry with Rowena King in them. I looked at two and didn't see a Jay, McCaffry/McCaffrey, or a Chalmers in them. But that doesn't prove anything. If I had found one of those names, then I could have tried to figure out how she was related to them.

Okay!!! It looks like Evelyn Florence Brown was the daughter of Oliver Deemar Brown and Anna JAY. (an online tree)
Further searching shows that Anna Jay was married to an Albert Trusty and a Ralph Wilson before she married Oliver D Brown.
