Hi:

Looking for any reference to Gertrude Hemsley born 1890, Chorlton district.

She emigrated to Canada in 1907, with possibly her two sisters Dorothy and Hannah.

She is on the 1891 census with parents - did you check?

Did you check freebmd for her birth then GRO online for her mmn?

In Scotland 1901.  Her mother died 1898 Scotland

Thank you all so much. I never thought about Family Search! I’ve used it often for English research!

I found Gertrudes two sisters “moving on” to the USA - both with decent careers!

I don’t have a subscription to Ancestry unfortunately.

Gertrudes son was my husbands uncle.
