Can I ask for confirmation of parents name on the attached marriage certificate of Louis Joseph Philippart & Maria Elizabeth Creplet. Many thanks.
-
My stab!!
Louis-Joseph eldest son of Pierre P & Jeanne-Marie Tren[?]
Marie eldest daughter of Louis-Baptiste C & Marie-Therese T/Foffined [?]
Happy to be corrected!

Louis-Joseph Phillipart: Pierre P. & Jeanne Marie Jacob
Marie-Elisabeth Crepelet: Jean-Baptiste C. & Marie-Thérèse Goffinet
@josey: majeur(e) does not mean eldest, but adult (=not minor). The French word for eldest is aîné(e) ;)

Hi All
Have now found a tree on Geni.com that is saying Louis Baptiste Creplet 1775 & Marie Therese Goffinet? 1786-1864. So think I will go with Goffinet. Thanks also for Jeanne Marie Jacob. Regards

Whoops :-[, thanks

May I ask for translation help on the attached marriage certificate for Catherine Eleonore Philippart. Does it give an exact date of her birth? Ancestry are showing a hint as 21 March 1824?, and was her birth Florenville? Having trouble to locate her birth certificate. Regards
-
Yes, she was born 21 March 1824, it is noted on the 4th & 5th lines following her name.

Many thanks for confirming.
