Hi Guys,
I have got a Chancery File from 1660's and would like to know what style of handwriting the attached is, so I can find a link showing the alphabet etc.
Many thanks, Dave.

Chancery Hand. There's an alphabet and sample text here (plate 4, top).

There are variants of this hand, so don't expect all the letter-forms to be identical. Perhaps look at the court-hands on nearby pages too?

Hi Bookbox,
Thanks for that. will be able to work from that and as you say, some letters will differ - that happens in my own writing today, lol.
Hopefully will be able to translate all ok. If not, I know you guys are here to help.
Stay safe, Dave.
