My son, who knows my genealogy and research obsessions, suggested I watch these videos. I really enjoyed them - very entertaining and great excursions into researching a name. I very much related to the researching an interesting tangent that ends up not really helping your proposition.

Thank you! I really enjoyed the videos. I have no Tiffanys in my tree but there is a tangential reference to a family named Tiffany. My grandfather said of his own father that "as a boy, Hugh lived with a Tiffany family for about 4 years, about 1856 to 1860." There were several related Tiffany households in the area [Marquette County, Wisconsin] at that time and I'm not sure which one g-grandpa lived with. I guess they must trace back to those early Tiffanys in Massachusetts and New York.
