Anna Augusta Adeline Franke was born in Ruabon Denbighshire in 1881.
By her marriage both parents have died.
21 Jan 1913 Christ Church, Broadway, London, Westminster,
Parish as it Appears: St Margaret, Westminster
Spouse: William Dyners Thomas. Widower Clerk in Holy Orders. Father John Thomas farmer.
I have Anna up to 1901, but can`t find her later than this. Also not finding her husband at all.
Some fresh eyes needed please ::)

1911 - look for William Dynevor Thomas b 1872 living in Leics
Previously married 1900 to Gwenllian - also surname Thomas. Marriage cert is on Ancestry
-
Do you have access to the 1939 register?
They are both living in Lampeter, Cardiganshire, Wales.
I don't think I am allowed to tell you anymore due to copyright reasons, unfortunately.
Anna died on 28 November 1946 in Cardiganshire. She is listed in the National Probate Calendar for that year.
Queenie :)

Thanks, there are some awful transciptions in some of these records.
It's amazing how the places are found.
Anna spent annual holidays in Rhyl as a child, but I don't know if that's a clue to her whereabouts in 1911.?

Using the wildcard search helps sometimes - but no guarantees ;D. I found William by searching using william dyn* thom*

What was Anna's address at the time she married in 1913?

1908.
Dr Roberts funeral.
There is a Miss A.A.Franke, Paris mentioned. Something or nothing.
Trouble is where to search for France.

It looks like St Ermines Hotel. ?

Oh, that doesn't seem very helpful. I was thinking of looking for her address in the 1911 to see if that turned up anything. Need a road name really.
She's either got missed or badly transcribed although I didn't get anywhere with just her first name and county of birth.

Her father left effects of nearly £12500, so she could afford to stay there.

Rev John Kerry Williams of Ansley ? Leicestershire married the couple.
Not much to go on really.

Who were the witnesses? Not that they would necessarily be of any help ::)

John Howell Thomas.
Jane Nicholas.

Ok, thanks wilcoxon. I'm guessing that John Thomas is a relative of the bridegroom and Jane Nicholas could be anyone from a relative to a friend.
May just have to accept the fact that Anna isn't findable on the 1911.

Just noticed Miss Nicholas also sent flowers, could she be Jane the witness. I think this is a clue that it may be Anna in Paris.
