Title: James Scarr 1891 Census
Post by: MacGrigor on Saturday 02 October 21 16:28 BST (UK)
Hello,

James was born James Scare in Soham in 1820. I haven’t found him on the 1891 Census, but he was at 5 Duncan Road in Great Yarmouth on the 1901 Census and on electoral rolls throughout the 1890s. In 1881, he was living at Daisy Cottage on Huntingdon Road in Cambridge. I imagine he would’ve been lodging with someone in 1891. If anyone could help me, I’d greatly appreciate it!

Do you have the exact address? I can see it’s York Road on the transcription.

Thank you! I thought it might have been. He was there on an electoral roll in 1895.
