My subscription for findmypast ends on October 15th. I have cancelled auto renew.
Is there a special offer or discount code at this time. I have a 12 month pro subscription which I would like to keep or a 12 month UK with newspapers included would do me.

For some years FindMyPast have been pretty good at offering a discount to existing customers at each renewal - from memory I think it's generally been around 10%, though I think I might have seen someone mention getting 25% just a day or two ago. So it might be worth reinstating your auto-renewal, at least until you've compared what they might offer you with what they're currently offering new subscribers.

FindMyPast describes its auto renewal subscription as having an "unbeatable loyalty discount". It could be the best deal available.

I think the 25% discount may be a 'one off ' for those of us that they are in the process of transferring from a Britain only subscription as they no longer offer that option I always leave my auto renew for F M P and automatically get the loyalty discount

I'm trying to find out what the FindMyPast "Pro membership" annual subscription is as a newcomer. But every enquiry ends up as "You are already on the highest subscription". So, in order to compare my present subscription for "Pro" can anyone tell me what the present sign on fee is without a loyalty discount. Might it be £159.99?
Eight years ago I was paying £143.96 but am paying less than that now

Yes it's £159.99 for a new Pro sub. My last 4 renewals have been at £132.56.

My last £132.56 was 10 January 2021. Presumably they at least match any discount they offer to new subscribers at the time?

My last 12 month Pro cost me 119.99 pounds. I transferred from my 12 month British Subscription which cost me 71.64 pounds. I got that 25% off the Pro Subscriprion plus a week or so refund on my British Sub. .I have asked Findmypast if they will auto renew at last years price. Waiting for their reply.Thank you for all your interesting replies.

I switched off auto-renew and after my sub expired in January I received emails telling me my loyalty discount would still work for a month. Effectively if I could live without a sub briefly I had a month to hedge my bets in case a better discount for new subscribers emerged.

Same here - £132.56 for three years until last renewal (June 2021) when it increased to £135.99.
