John BEAN & Ann had issue two daughters Arabella [baptised 12 Jan 1738/39] and Barbara [baptised 2 Dec 1740].
Ann's remains interred 26 Nov 1742 at St Margaret, Rottingdean.
I am hoping for assistance to locate John BEAN and Ann's marriage please.
John subsequently married Martha whose maiden name is unknown nor the date and location of John and Martha's marriage.

Hello Colin,
Thanks so much for Martha's maiden name and the date and location of marriage.
Ann is proving elusive.. :)

But was it her maiden name?
From The Keep
Frylands held of the Manor of Rottingdean
In 1732 William Mills, son of William Mills, deceased, inherited the property on the death of Joan his mother. On his death the property passed to his widow Martha who married John Bean.

From a transcript, there's a baptism at nearby Friston, 28 March 1734

There is also an Ann Bean baptized at Friston, 8 July 1735, to John and Ann.
And apparently an earlier Mary Bean to parents with the same names, 24 Feb 1727. Which complicates things. Info from FamilySearch (no images)
Ann Bean buried at Rottingdean, 22 Jan 1747/8. No other info :(

The 1744 marriage of John & Martha was by licence, but no idea of the issuing church court.
Likewise the marriage between Ann Walker & John Bearn/Bean was by licence, no idea of which jurisdiction.

Another will!
William Bean of Jevington, farmer.
Proved at Lewes, 1 Aug 1751
https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:S3HY-68YT-1M
Eldest son John Bean
Grandchildren Ann, Mary, Arabella, and Barbara Bean (children of said son John Bean)
He has daughter Mary Allen
And daughter Barbara Playsted
Barbara Playsted has children Henry, William, and Elizabeth
Another son Thomas Bean (executor)
Other stuff relating to this will on The Keep.
It's dated 26 Dec 1750, so the Ann Bean who was buried in Rottingdean in 1747/8 must be someone else.
And the William Playsted mentioned may be the executor of John Bean's will.

Thank you once again Jon.
I will close the post now and thank everyone for their input.
