Hi,this is the first time for ages that I've been able to use Rootschat again and I'm looking for a bit of help please, so hope I'm using the correct board.
A few years back I was able to pull up & print off a list of all my posts (through my profile), which I kept for easy reference.
I've mislaid my original list, but quite a while ago when I tried to repeat the procedure by going into 'my profile and 'show posts', it listed not just my posts my but also the text.
Is there a way in which I can just get a list, showing subject title only as before, of all my posts?
I would appreciate advice on this please, any guidance at all,as a list of my posts would really help me to pick up and get started/renew my interests, with Rootchat again.
Thanks very much
Barbara.

Hello Barbara
Welcome back :)
I've been a member since 2006 but I can't remember a title-only listing.
Maybe Trystan or Sarah might know.

Click on "Search" then type your name Barbara348 in "Search For" and click on "Search". There are 62 posts,
If you also add your name to the "User" section, you will only get 4 posts.

I don't think that works. It only brings up 100 posts for me or 123 pages without the 'by' and also includes the first line of the posting.
Add - and this only if my name is mentioned in the post

Perhaps this?
In your profile select Show posts.
It defaults to all messages, but you can select “topics”. As far as I can tell this brings up a list of threads I have started. Not all threads I have participated in. But haven’t checked all yet.

OP mentioned wanting to print just the titles without the text.
I've been a member since 2006 also and don't remember being able to select any option to just print out posts by titles.

If one uses the Search facility, without the 'by user............', the results would include all posts in which your name was mentioned: for e.g. I agree with x or 'as x says, etc. If one puts the username in both boxes, you only get the post where the member has signed or referred to his/herself in a post. If you put the name in the 'by user' box, you have to put something in the search box or you get an error!

I'm not sure if this is what you are looking for:
On your profile, click Show Posts. The list of posts comes up with the text. If you click 'attachments' at the top of the list, you get a list without text. Mine goes back to about 2011 which would be about right for me.
I hope this helps

The results are similar to lists of messages (click 'my messages' then select 'Inbox' or 'Sent Items')

But that only shows posts where you've attached an image or whatever. However, if you click on the topics option, you'll get a list of topics that you've started - but only those that you've started not all posts.

I myself would click on "profile" then "summery" looks left for email notifications and it show you all the topics that you have either started or replied to. Select "started by" and that will order them by poster then you scroll down to your name and they will all be listed. If you put the family name you are researching in the heading it makes it easier to find your posts.

Thanks, Sarah :)
That explains why I couldn't isolate mine. I've not had e-mail notifications* since soon after I joined.
* add- I only get notifications for personal messages. I turned off notifications for posts/topics.

I've only got notifications for some, not all, topics which explains why it wouldn't work for Gadget and I.

Hello Barbara,
I saw a post by you about Maurice John Ridge, your great Uncle. I am not related to him but have definite knowledge of him, as it was my great Grandfather, Hubert Leonard Elliott, who notified the GRO of his death. Maurice lived as a lodger with my great, great grandmother for approx 30 years. If you would like more information, please contact me.

Hi RichardDC
Welcome to Rootschat ;D
It would appear that you have attached your reply to the wrong topic.
Maybe look again at the forum and try to find the topic you were looking at.
I tried searching but couldn't find it.
When you do locate it, copy the URL from the top of the screen into a reply and the moderating team will relocate this for you.
