Title: 2 Chelsea Pensioner records
Post by: rogerb on Monday 15 November 21 15:52 GMT (UK)
I have two records for the same soldier - Hyde Hassan.  So I can tell he was a drum Major!

But I can't quite tell where he was born or is it an occupation?  A Glass Grinder?

Then there is some sort of medical information which I can't work out.

The medical information looks like "Has been cutt for the stone & has a fistula."

He would have been admitted to the Chelsea Hospital as an in-pensioner - to reside there. It wasn't a hospital in the medical sense.
