Title: Ralph Woodhouse
Post by: Bab5 on Sunday 19 December 21 13:38 GMT (UK)
HI. Just wondered if anyone can help.
I am looking for any information of a Ralph Woodhouse born in Sheffield 1725 or 1735. He was admitted to the Chelsea Hospital on the 17-11-1762 and was a soldier in The 36th Regiment of Foot
Trying to find his date of birth or his service records.
Thanks Stay Safe Babs

There's a RW baptism 4 Mar 1725 Sheffield father also Ralph.

From a typed register of names not an original record.

His age looks to be 38 on the Chelsea register you have so that would fit with a baptism 1725.

You may have to go to TNA Kew and wade through the records for 36th Regt of Foot

I had to do that with one of OH's family but did not find service records just where he was mentioned in the regts books.
