Anyone know of a site that will explain for free how a person was awarded a posthumous MC in WW2 please
-
The first place I would look is The London Gazette.
www.thegazette.co.uk
Military Cross was only awarded posthumously from 1979.
See: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Military_Cross

Thank you.
I need to look into the situation further then
-
Perhaps you meant Military Medal, rather than Military Cross?
A different award to the Military Cross ;)
I would still look in the Gazette.

Thanks I now have a solution
