Robert Alexander was married to Susan Crompton at Johanesburg, Gauteng, on 13 Nov. 1907. They had 2 children - Robert Charles (b. 1909), Frank Donald (b.1911). Susan returned to the UK in 1912 with the two boys, and subsequently Susan remarried (as a widow) in 1921. I believe Robert was an 'engineer', and I would like to establish the date of his death. Of course any other information would be gratefully received. Many thanks

Interestingly I see that their son Robert Charles was baptized as Robert Charles Alexander and with the surname of Crompton.
