Title: Royal Chelsea Hospital register :
Post by: Iain... on Saturday 16 April 22 13:20 BST (UK)
Good afternoon everyone...

Can someone please tell me what the three words are.  I have a rough idea but....

This has been taken from the Royal Chelsea Hospital register and is on the 'complaint' column.

Thanks in advance..., Iain.

Blindness from fever.

The double "ss" is in the old fashioned mode of "fs"

  Blindness from fever ?

Yes..., thank you everyone.  I couldn't make out the 'ne,' and as rena said, the double 's' was confusing.
This man has one hell of a story to tell.  He has his Waterloo Medal, but shouldn't have as he should have been Court-Martialled.  Fever from a wound perhaps.

Thank you again..., Iain.
