Trying to trace Catherine Algeo nee Stevenson born 1868 in Cloonclare. Married Adam Algeo from Tullyskerney. Adam emigrated to Toronto Canada in the early 1900s with 3 of their children. Cannot find any records of Catherine, any help would be appreciated.

IGI lists 7 children of Thomas Stephenson & Jane Fletcher: 1864 Mary, 1866 John, 1868 Catherine, 1872 Simon, 1874 Jane, 1877 Isabella, 1879 George. As civil registration of births only started in 1864 there may be older children than Mary (1864). IGI lists some, not all, Irish births 1864-c1882 so there might be other children younger than George (1879).

Catherine Stephenson (b. ~ 1868 Co Leitrim was Adam Algeo's second wife. I believe she died in Co. Leitrim then Adam and their four children went to Canada:
Thomas Algeo
Jane Elizabeth "Lizzie Algeo who married John Davide Brown 1913 in Toronto ON
Adam Algeo (Jr) who married twice.
Mary Algeo
In the 1911 Canadian Census, Adam Algeo and his two daughters Lizzie and Mary are living with the family of one of his daughters and her family (Charles and Sarah CLARE) in Toronto, Ontario.
Adam Algeo came to Canada in 1908 and Lizzie and Mary came over in 1911.

I am researching Leitrim men and women during the 1914-18 war. I have Adam Algeo in my database along with two other of the family name, Lewis and Norman, of Glenboy, not too far from Tullyskeherny, where Adam grew up. Apart from the military records I just have whatevr information is in the Irish census records of 1901 and 1911. I would be keen to hear of any other sources particularly anything that might throw light on their wartime experiences. Thank you;
