Post by: diane5250 on Sunday 26 February 23 22:32 GMT (UK)
sorry for speaking english.
I have a bible page of my ancestors with the word Vashti on it, john Crow Vashti
this is from Isle of Man and I was wondering if this word is gaelic and what does
vashti mean.   thanks to anyone who might know.   I attached the bible page.

Everything else written on the page is in English and it is from a copy of the Bible printed in English. It may well just be a doodle as Vashti is the name of a queen in the Book of Esther. It is not Scottish Gaelic and I suspect it isn't Manx either.
