This is my first effort at this family and I am asking on behalf of a friend and showing her how to approach RC.
G H Parkes born 1922; died 2000. married Zena Irene Curits b, 1918ish died 2003.
We are looking for his father and mother and siblings of each. Father also George Henry born about 1893.
Starting to work back from here and find more family. ;)

One more question. How does my friend find out the siblings of the Zena's mother Florence Amy Pinder, who she knows was at the end of a long family - whose parents died when she was very young, and she was brought up by her elder Siblings - Florence that is. ;)

I think this may be Florence Amy Pinder b 1876, Sheffield. - free BMD
1921 census index can be accessed for free on Find my Past but you have to register. That shows Florrie Amy Curtis b 1880 so another ‘fib’ re age perhaps.

Florence and Thomas CURTIS, and Zena are also on the 1939 register at Sheffield. If you have access to Ancestry or findmypast you can see the record, and their birth dates. Most libraries have access if your friend doesn't want a subscription.
