Hi Chatters,
How do I go about obtaining a copy of an actual will and is it, by chance, online?
These are the details I have from the National Probate Index:
Innes Berry Prosser of Lochhead, Parish of Skene died 22 October 1896. Executor was named 3 October 1896, and the matter was recorded in Court Book of Commissariot of Aberdeen 22 Apr 1897.
I looked on ScotlandsPeople, National Archives and FamilySearch without success. I can't see a way of searching the Registers of Scotland.
Thanks for any direction you can provide. :)

Where did she die? Nothing on SP for 1896/7
EDIT - IGNORE - it helps if you are looking at deaths - not births🙄🙄

Thanks for your inquiry, CaroleW.
I have Innes' death record from ScotlandsPeople. She is listed as Innes Prosser, mother's maiden name Smith, Skene Parish.

See my edit above - I had selected births instead of deaths - DUH🙄🙄

;D Glad to see I'm not the only one to make that kind of slip up. ::) ;D

Oh ... I'm so excited!
The link you provided says the search has timed out and it doesn't lead me to anything. Can you please instruct me on which search parameters you used so I can try to recreate what you've found?
