I'm looking for the birth and parents details of ANN SOMNER. She married George Tubb on 21 Dec
1784 in Old Basing, Hampshire. They were both living in the parish at the time, but I don't know her
birth details. George was born 1730 in Sherfield-upon-Loddon. They had a known daughter, Sarah,
born in Berkshire. Ann died in 1839 in Hartley Wintney. I'd be very grateful for any help. Thank you.

What age is given for her on her death certificate?
-
I haven't seen any official details but other trees have it as 62 years old. No other
birth details though. :-\

I'm unable to find a death registration for an Anne Tubb in 1839. :-\
Did she marry again?
-
Like nannyjan, I can't see a death registration for Anne Tubb in 1839
If the trees are correct (pinch of salt required unless there is official confirmation) then she was born 1777.
I don't think this can be correct, since it would make her only 7 when she married George.

Added: where and when was their daughter born, please?
-
I think there may be a bit of a mix up somewhere with the dates.
Ann Tubb aged 62 buried Old Basing 21 May 1823
George Tubb aged 58 buried Old Basing 12 June 1821.
George's father may have been another George Tubb, but there are other possibilities.

Oh dear.....back to square one!!! I suppose this is what you get when you copy from other peoples trees! :-[.
Working back the other way I have Sarah Tubb b. 1788 in Tubney, Berkshire daughter of George
Tubb and Ann Somner. I got the death date wrong for Ann Somner, it was 1823 in Old Basing.
I think there's a huge mistake somewhere and I'll have to work back from Sarah Tubb again.
She's probably not the daughter of George and Ann. Senior moments!! :-\. Thank you for your
help.
