I wondered if you can give me advice on how to find my fathers death certificate please I know I can’t say his name but I would like to send for his military records and can’t until I get his death certificate

Since your father is deceased you can give his name.

Otherwise look up the death date on FreeBMD

What you need to do would depend on where he died.

If he died from 2007 onwards you may not find him on the online deaths.  You would have to use

His name was Alfred William Bambridge he died in 1984 Lincoln I would love to find his RAF records, he was in the 2 WW.

FreeBMD has:-

Bambridge, Alfred William  reg. Lincoln Vol 7 page 1872 

Date of birth given at death 22 February 1922

WWII records are still held by the government.
